PostFinance achieved an operating profit of 290 million Swiss francs, supported by new digital investment and retirement solutions. In contrast, the mail market experienced a decline of 4.2 percent in addressed shipments, leading to a revenue drop of 85 million Swiss francs in the mail and newspaper business.<\/p>\n

To address the financial challenges, the Post plans to sharpen its strategy by 2030. The focus will be on strengthening the core areas of logistics, communication, mobility, and financial services. CEO Grieder explains that the Post aims to work less but with more focus and impact. The goal is to increase the profit contribution from the parcel business and accelerate growth in the investment business.<\/p>\n

The Post will continue to make price adjustments and will need to reduce internal costs to ensure a financially viable basic service. By 2030, processes in internal areas are to be simplified to work more efficiently.
