After the first successful meeting of the working group “Robotics in Intralogistics” at FANUC in Biel, the Intralogistics Association Switzerland (ILS) held a second edition. This time, the host was St\u00f6cklin AG in Laufen.<\/h5>\n

(Deitingen\/Laufen) Under the leadership of the two board members Michael Sch\u00fcpbach and Massimiliano D\u2019Amore, the participants exchanged ideas on exciting topics related to the use of robots in intralogistics.<\/p>\n

The event was opened with an introduction written by ChatGPT and presented by Michael Sch\u00fcpbach, which connected to the first event focusing on AI. Andreas Habl from the company Robiominds traveled from Munich for this occasion to give an exciting keynote speech on the topic “Every robot needs a brain:” and to explain to the participants the advantages of an external AI-based robot control for use in logistics applications.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, all members had the opportunity to speak, each presenting a presentation on realized robotic applications as well as sought solutions. General contractors, integrators, planners, manufacturers, and users were all represented. Thus, all participants enjoyed a total of nine additional short presentations.<\/p>\n

Company Visit at St\u00f6cklin AG<\/h5>\n

After the meeting, the participants enjoyed a company visit at the hosting company St\u00f6cklin Logistik AG. The evening concluded with a rich aperitif and many interesting conversations.<\/p>\n

ILS Working Group “Robotics in Intralogistics” <\/strong><\/p>\n

The working group was founded by the ILS and provides members with a platform for exchanging ideas on the topic of robots in intralogistics. In addition to networking, the focus is on existing solutions, from which a comprehensive provider matrix is to be developed in the medium term. On the other hand, innovative approaches are also discussed with the aim that different companies can jointly generate solutions for the future.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
