Wollerau) Digital interactions combined with increasing cost and margin pressure make it important to be prepared or even to have an edge when it comes to technical and digital tools. Dialogue is crucial and shows how we can best leverage and shape digitalization to our advantage &#8211; for customers, employees, and the entire organization. We see digitalization as the key to becoming more effective and efficient and creating growth opportunities in the logistics industry.<\/p>\n<p>Dealing with the challenges and opportunities described above requires some clear guiding principles that must be consistently applied when introducing new digital tools and services. We consider the following principles to be particularly critical.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>The era of closed systems is over<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>The era of closed systems is over. The reality in our working lives is different. Imagine information on rates, shipping details, complaints, and booking documents being automatically fed into your systems. But for providers, a multi-channel approach also means being present wherever customers are. To reach your target audience, you must adapt to the channel chosen by the audience.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>The transport and logistics industry lags behind digitally<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>At first glance, visibility sounds simple, but the transport and logistics industry still lags behind when it comes to data integration and transparency. A paradigm shift has occurred regarding customer expectations and the ultimate customer experience. Therefore, we see data integration and transparency as a core element on your growth path.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Automated and digital workflows<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Automation and the underlying workflow management are about achieving efficiency and productivity gains that contribute to optimizing your costs and processes. In this way, you can significantly reduce the number of unnecessary steps in your business. Automation and digitalization enable faster and better processes and ultimately provide a better foundation for customer interactions.<\/p>\n<h5>All systems are unified<\/h5>\n<p>Most solutions available on the market today are too technical and expensive. They come with a multitude of features that are not needed or even used.
