It was necessary to redesign a modern and efficient warehouse. The company commissioned Swisslog to implement an automated warehouse with high storage performance, located at the Cambiago plant.<\/p>\n

Focus on Sustainability

The automated warehouse of Andreas STIHL S.p.A. features workstations for storage, picking, and inventory, new storage and handling capacities, as well as an expanded picking area due to the implementation of the AutoStore system.<\/p>\n

Today, the company employs 71 people in Italy and relies on green manufacturing methods with a strong focus on sustainability from production to distribution. In the last ten years, Andreas STIHL S.p.A. has quadrupled its revenue, thanks in part to innovation and qualified service.<\/p>\n

The new AutoStore system guarantees efficient performance for order fulfillment. The error rate is minimized.
