The special feature: The cooling system of the truck&#8217;s cargo area is powered by electricity from the photovoltaic system on the vehicle&#8217;s roof.&#8221; use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text](Zurich) A fully electric 26-ton Renault Trucks D Wide Z.E. now complements the fleet of 100 trucks of the Swiss transport company Rhyner Logistik. It will now provide environmentally friendly deliveries to the Denner supermarkets in the city and the greater Zurich area, protecting the quality of life of Zurich residents thanks to CO<sub>2<\/sub>-free and quiet operation.<\/p>\n<p>To further enhance this valuable approach, Rhyner Logistik has decided to install photovoltaic panels on the cargo area to supply the cooling system with green electricity. This concept is particularly suited for temperature-controlled transport, as the cargo area needs to be maximally cooled precisely when outside temperatures\u2014and thus solar radiation\u2014are high.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Fast Charging Station Acquired<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Rhyner Logistik is convinced that electromobility is the most suitable solution to achieve a neutral CO<sub>2<\/sub> balance, and has also acquired a fast charging station. For optimal range, the truck is charged in the warehouse during the loading process.
