Alla luce del crescente sovraccarico della rete stradale nazionale, un&#8217;espansione mirata \u00e8 considerata indispensabile, affermano i rappresentanti dell&#8217;associazione.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;ASTAG sottolinea che sia il traffico stradale che quello ferroviario necessitano di un&#8217;infrastruttura moderna e adeguata alle esigenze. L&#8217;approccio del Consiglio federale di considerare la pianificazione dei trasporti in modo globale \u00e8 espressamente sostenuto. Thierry Burkart, consigliere agli Stati e presidente centrale dell&#8217;ASTAG, afferma: &#8222;La discussione sull&#8217;infrastruttura non pu\u00f2 essere condotta in modo isolato, sono necessari ampliamenti in tutti i settori.&#8220; Sebbene le espansioni pianificate delle strade nazionali siano relativamente modeste rispetto ai consistenti investimenti nell&#8217;infrastruttura ferroviaria, offrono comunque una prospettiva necessaria per il traffico stradale fortemente congestionato. Burkart critica l&#8217;opposizione intensa contro i piani del Consiglio federale per l&#8217;eliminazione dei colli di bottiglia come incomprensibile.<\/p>\n<h3>Necessit\u00e0 urgente di intervento per l&#8217;eliminazione dei colli di bottiglia<\/h3>\n<p>L&#8217;ASTAG considera le misure pianificate per l&#8217;eliminazione dei colli di bottiglia come tardive. Le previsioni per il 2024 indicano pi\u00f9 di 55.000 ore di ingorghi, evidenziando la necessit\u00e0 urgente di intervento. Nei nodi autostradali centrali si rischia un fermo quasi totale. Anche se l&#8217;ulteriore espansione dell&#8217;infrastruttura non pu\u00f2 risolvere tutti i problemi, il governo riconosce nei propri studi che sia il traffico merci che quello passeggeri su strada aumenteranno significativamente nei prossimi anni, nonostante gli elevati investimenti nel trasporto ferroviario. Burkart avverte: &#8222;Senza rapidi ampliamenti di capacit\u00e0, le massicce ore di ingorgo continueranno sicuramente ad aumentare.&#8220; Ci\u00f2 avr\u00e0 ripercussioni negative sui costi dei trasporti merci e sulla mobilit\u00e0 della popolazione e dell&#8217;economia.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;ASTAG sottolinea che prosperit\u00e0 e crescita dipendono dalla mobilit\u00e0 e dalla logistica, per le quali \u00e8 necessaria un&#8217;infrastruttura efficiente. Inoltre, anche i residenti beneficeranno di un minor traffico di deviazione e di una maggiore sicurezza stradale. Nella prossima consultazione, l&#8217;ASTAG intende impegnarsi decisamente affinch\u00e9 venga accelerata l&#8217;eliminazione dei colli di bottiglia sulla strada nazionale, considerandola un passo necessario. L&#8217;associazione considera i piani attuali come un primo passo, ma vede comunque la necessit\u00e0 di ulteriori interventi a medio e lungo termine per affrontare il sovraccarico delle strade nazionali.
