Moller \u2013 Maersk heeft het containerschip \u201cTema M\u00e6rsk\u201d overgenomen: het schip is gebouwd bij Yangzijiang Shipbuilding in China en is uitgerust met een dual-fuelmotor van de Zwitserse aandrijffabrikant WinGD.<\/p>\n<p>Er wordt gebruikgemaakt van een motor van het type \u201cX82DF-M\/E\u201d, die op methanol kan draaien en bovendien is ontworpen voor het gebruik van ethanol. De motor maakt deel uit van het \u201cX-DF-M-motorplatform\u201d van WinGD, dat is ontwikkeld voor gebruik met verschillende brandstoffen.<\/p>\n<p>Maersk had de motoren in 2023 besteld voor een serie van zes containerschepen met een capaciteit van elk 9.000 teu.
