Ter uniformering van de registratie en verklaring van CO2-uitstoot wordt nu een \u00abFair Carbon Player\u00bb beschikbaar gesteld. Met de nieuwe richtlijn moet een gestandaardiseerde aanpak in de hele sector worden bereikt.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Bern) De Zwitserse wegtransportsector zet zich intensief in voor Green Logistics. Al jaren zijn er innovatieve concepten om de CO2-uitstoot te verlagen, hetzij door voortdurende vernieuwing van de voertuigvloten, door geoptimaliseerde routeplanning of dankzij de oprichting van bedrijfsnetwerken die dienen ter voorkoming van lege ritten. Het doel is netto nul uiterlijk in 2050, zoals de stemgerechtigde bevolking heeft besloten met de aanname van de Klimaat- en Innovatiewet op 18 juni 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Een grote uitdaging is de meting van CO2-uitstoot bij transportprocessen. Er ontbreekt nog een uniforme, in de sector erkende methodiek. De Zwitserse Vereniging van Vrachtwagens ASTAG heeft daarom in nauwe samenwerking met GS1 Switzerland en talrijke vakexperts een sectorstandaard ontwikkeld. Onder de titel \u00abFair Carbon Player\u00bb wordt de leden van de vereniging (gratis) en andere ge\u00efnteresseerden vanaf nu een richtlijn aangeboden die in detail uiteenzet hoe de CO2-uitstoot bij transportprocessen moet worden geregistreerd en verklaard. De basis is de ISO-norm 14083:2023. De \u00abFair Carbon Player\u00bb vult hier verschillende hiaten in die tot nu toe veel ruimte voor interpretatie lieten en leidden tot onzekerheid en soms tot verschillende werkwijzen. \u00abMet de \u2039Fair Carbon Player\u203a cre\u00ebren we transparantie\u00bb, legt ASTAG-plaatsvervangend directeur Andr\u00e9 Kirchhofer uit: \u00abHiermee kunnen CO2-uitstoot uniform worden gemeten en vervolgens gericht worden verminderd.\u00bb<\/p>\n<h5>CO2-calculator als aanvullende aanbieding<\/h5>\n<p>Als volgende stap zal de ASTAG zich inzetten voor een zo breed mogelijke toepassing van de \u00abFair Carbon Player\u00bb. In principe blijft de meting en verklaring van CO2-uitstoot ondanks de ISO-norm en sectorrichtlijn nog steeds zeer complex en veeleisend, vooral bij de integratie in IT-systemen. Als aanvullende ondersteuning voor lidbedrijven biedt de ASTAG daarom online samen met de partnerfirma CarbonCare ook een CO2-calculator aan. Hiermee kunnen de CO2-uitstoot per transportproces eenvoudig en direct worden berekend.
