Damit werden auf der Schweizer Seite die baulichen Voraussetzungen geschaffen, um G\u00fcterz\u00fcge mit Sattelaufliegern von 4 m Eckh\u00f6he k\u00fcnftig im Regelverkehr auch \u00fcber die linksrheinische Strecke nach Frankreich und weiter zu den NEAT-Basistunneln am Gotthard und L\u00f6tschberg f\u00fchren zu k\u00f6nnen. Die Hauptarbeiten starten 2026 und sollen bis Ende 2029 abgeschlossen sein.<\/p>\n<h3>Transporte de Carga pela Grande Cidade<\/h3>\n<p>O objetivo do projeto \u00e9 tornar o transporte ferrovi\u00e1rio de carga mais competitivo e transferir transportes adicionais atravessando os Alpes da estrada para a ferrovia. Semirreboques de quatro metros de altura est\u00e3o se tornando cada vez mais comuns no transporte de carga europeu, pois oferecem vantagens log\u00edsticas e econ\u00f4micas claras para embarcadores e empresas de transporte. No entanto, para transportar essas unidades pela ferrovia, \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio um perfil de espa\u00e7o livre maior, que muitas das linhas existentes n\u00e3o atendem.<\/p>\n<p>O n\u00facleo das medidas em Basel s\u00e3o os rebaixamentos de trilhos nos t\u00faneis Kannenfeld e Sch\u00fctzenmatt, bem como sob as passagens superiores Allschwilerstrasse e Oberwilerstrasse. Nos dois t\u00faneis, os trilhos ser\u00e3o rebaixados em cerca de meio metro, com ajustes nas linhas de eletrifica\u00e7\u00e3o. No t\u00fanel Kannenfeld, est\u00e1 prevista uma amplia\u00e7\u00e3o da ab\u00f3bada do t\u00fanel do lado do Reno para criar uma rota de fuga. Sob outras passagens, como na Wanderstrasse e na Marschalkenstrasse, s\u00e3o suficientes ajustes na linha de eletrifica\u00e7\u00e3o. Os rebaixamentos come\u00e7am em trechos abertos, de modo que os trilhos possam ser levados em rampa para as estruturas. Ao mesmo tempo, v\u00e1rias adapta\u00e7\u00f5es de linhas de servi\u00e7os e cruzamentos de riachos sob a faixa ferrovi\u00e1ria devem ser feitas.<\/p>\n<p>Paralelamente \u00e0 adapta\u00e7\u00e3o do perfil, a SBB utiliza o per\u00edmetro do projeto para extensas medidas de manuten\u00e7\u00e3o. Entre o t\u00fanel Kannenfeld e as pontes Birsig, a superestrutura de ambas as linhas ser\u00e1 completamente renovada. Al\u00e9m disso, as duas pontes Birsig de via \u00fanica ser\u00e3o restauradas. Est\u00e3o planejadas, entre outras coisas, a renova\u00e7\u00e3o da prote\u00e7\u00e3o contra corros\u00e3o, uma nova veda\u00e7\u00e3o das placas das pontes, bem como a substitui\u00e7\u00e3o e o refor\u00e7o dos apoios das pontes. O objetivo \u00e9 manter as estruturas seguras e confi\u00e1veis para uso por pelo menos mais 50 anos.<\/p>\n<h3>Trabalhos Durante a Opera\u00e7\u00e3o<\/h3>\n<p>Para minimizar os impactos no transporte de passageiros e de carga, a constru\u00e7\u00e3o ocorrer\u00e1 durante a opera\u00e7\u00e3o. Em vez de um fechamento total por v\u00e1rios anos, apenas uma das duas linhas ser\u00e1 fechada por um longo per\u00edodo. Al\u00e9m disso, a SBB construir\u00e1 desvios provis\u00f3rios para reduzir pela metade o comprimento dos trechos de via \u00fanica e limitar as perdas de capacidade. No entanto, durante o per\u00edodo de constru\u00e7\u00e3o, est\u00e3o previstas restri\u00e7\u00f5es no tr\u00e1fego ferrovi\u00e1rio, bem como fechamentos totais em alguns finais de semana.<\/p>\n<p>Os custos para a adapta\u00e7\u00e3o do perfil e a renova\u00e7\u00e3o dos trilhos totalizam cerca de 114 milh\u00f5es de CHF e ser\u00e3o financiados atrav\u00e9s do cr\u00e9dito de compromisso do governo para os projetos do corredor de 4 metros. Para a restaura\u00e7\u00e3o das pontes Birsig, est\u00e3o previstos mais 7 milh\u00f5es de CHF, que ser\u00e3o cobertos pelo acordo de desempenho entre o governo e a SBB.<\/p>\n<p>Para que o transporte de carga de 4 metros seja poss\u00edvel tamb\u00e9m via Fran\u00e7a, s\u00e3o necess\u00e1rias adapta\u00e7\u00f5es complementares do perfil do lado franc\u00eas. Uma declara\u00e7\u00e3o de inten\u00e7\u00e3o correspondente foi assinada pelo Conselheiro Federal Albert R\u00f6sti e pelo Ministro dos Transportes franc\u00eas em fevereiro de 2025. O objetivo de ambos os pa\u00edses \u00e9 criar uma rota de acesso adicional e eficiente do lado esquerdo do Reno para os eixos NEAT, aumentando assim a robustez do transporte ferrovi\u00e1rio de
