Ele aborda a volatilidade das taxas de frete para os modos de transporte mar\u00edtimo, rodovi\u00e1rio, ferrovi\u00e1rio e a\u00e9reo.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(St. Gallen) Um estudo recentemente publicado pelo Instituto de Gest\u00e3o da Cadeia de Abastecimento da Universidade de St. Gallen aborda precisamente a volatilidade das taxas de frete para os modos de transporte mar\u00edtimo, rodovi\u00e1rio, ferrovi\u00e1rio e a\u00e9reo. Considerando a perspectiva de carregadores, transit\u00e1rios e transportadores, os quatro modos de transporte s\u00e3o sistematicamente examinados em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a desafios e pr\u00e1ticas de gest\u00e3o. Isso leva \u00e0s seguintes conclus\u00f5es centrais:<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Cen\u00e1rio 1: Transporte Mar\u00edtimo<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>O transporte mar\u00edtimo \u00e9 conhecido por seus ciclos de boom e busto, com anos de taxas baixas, durante os quais as companhias de navega\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o conseguiram cobrir seus custos de capital, seguidos pela crise da COVID-19 e pela transfer\u00eancia de custos e sobretaxas para os carregadores. Al\u00e9m desses aumentos de pre\u00e7os inesperados, o transporte mar\u00edtimo nos \u00faltimos anos tamb\u00e9m apresentou uma baixa pontualidade por parte dos transportadores. Para evitar situa\u00e7\u00f5es semelhantes no futuro, os carregadores, transit\u00e1rios e transportadores devem n\u00e3o apenas tratar os sintomas, mas tamb\u00e9m abordar as causas subjacentes. Enquanto os carregadores podem se comprometer com volumes maiores antecipadamente e celebrar contratos de longo prazo e execut\u00e1veis com garantia de compra, os transit\u00e1rios precisam diversificar as escalas portu\u00e1rias para superar futuras distor\u00e7\u00f5es de mercado devido a capacidades portu\u00e1rias limitadas.<\/p>\n<p><u>Perspectiva:<\/u> As taxas de frete mar\u00edtimo n\u00e3o cair\u00e3o para os n\u00edveis insustent\u00e1veis anteriores a 2020, pois estas estavam, em parte, abaixo da contribui\u00e7\u00e3o marginal das companhias de navega\u00e7\u00e3o. As taxas podem se normalizar em 2023, mas provavelmente estar\u00e3o um pouco acima de 2019 (fator 1.5).<\/p>\n<h5><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-20201 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/swisstrans.dashboard.brand-architecture.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2025\/12\/ISCM_28.7.22_5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1414\" height=\"786\" \/><\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>Cen\u00e1rio 2: Transporte Rodovi\u00e1rio de Cargas<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>As taxas de frete no transporte rodovi\u00e1rio de cargas foram sujeitas a flutua\u00e7\u00f5es significativas, especialmente devido \u00e0s altas atividades no mercado spot no transporte de carga completa. Al\u00e9m da din\u00e2mica de pre\u00e7os, o transporte rodovi\u00e1rio de cargas tamb\u00e9m enfrenta s\u00e9rios gargalos de capacidade, incluindo escassez de motoristas, longos prazos de entrega para novos ve\u00edculos e aumento dos custos de energia. Na Alemanha, o ano de 2021 apresentou um forte excesso de carga em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 capacidade de carga, com 76%. Portanto, os carregadores e prestadores de servi\u00e7os log\u00edsticos precisam encontrar maneiras de utilizar as capacidades de forma mais eficaz e consistente. Principalmente, as empresas comerciais devem, por exemplo, possibilitar tempos de troca de motoristas mais r\u00e1pidos nos locais de coleta e entrega. Os transit\u00e1rios, por sua vez, precisam repensar sua gest\u00e3o de frotas, pois cobrir picos de demanda atrav\u00e9s do mercado spot em tempos de capacidade limitada n\u00e3o funcionar\u00e1 mais.<\/p>\n<p><u>Perspectiva:<\/u> No transporte rodovi\u00e1rio de cargas, espera-se um aumento geral nos pre\u00e7os de transporte. Para a evolu\u00e7\u00e3o dos pre\u00e7os a curto e m\u00e9dio prazo, a escassez de motoristas \u00e9 decisiva, uma vez que a disponibilidade de motoristas j\u00e1 determina hoje a capacidade de carga dos transportadores.<\/p>\n<h5><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-20202 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/swisstrans.dashboard.brand-architecture.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2025\/12\/ISCM_28.7.22_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1242\" height=\"766\" \/><\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>Cen\u00e1rio 3: Transporte Ferrovi\u00e1rio de Cargas<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Ao contr\u00e1rio de outros modos de transporte, o transporte ferrovi\u00e1rio de cargas se destaca pela estabilidade de pre\u00e7os devido ao n\u00famero limitado de fornecedores e uma estrutura de custos relativamente transparente. Portanto, no transporte ferrovi\u00e1rio de cargas, o foco principal \u00e9 maximizar a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o das capacidades e aumentar a flexibilidade e a confiabilidade, a fim de alcan\u00e7ar a quota m\u00ednima de 25% no transporte, conforme almejado pelo governo alem\u00e3o. Existe uma necessidade significativa de melhorias, especialmente em terminais multimodais para o transporte intermodal. Para melhorar a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o da capacidade, os carregadores devem identificar categorias de produtos &#8220;previs\u00edveis&#8221;, como bens de consumo, que exigem menos flexibilidade para utilizar o transporte ferrovi\u00e1rio de cargas. Al\u00e9m disso, devem ser desenvolvidos conceitos no transporte de carga fracionada para aumentar as combina\u00e7\u00f5es de transporte e alcan\u00e7ar uma maior automa\u00e7\u00e3o, por exemplo, nas opera\u00e7\u00f5es de manobra.<\/p>\n<p><u>Perspectiva:<\/u> Devido \u00e0 orienta\u00e7\u00e3o de pre\u00e7os de curto prazo para o transporte rodovi\u00e1rio (nacional) ou para o transporte mar\u00edtimo (internacional) e \u00e0 esperada crescente transfer\u00eancia para a ferrovia, espera-se um n\u00edvel de pre\u00e7os ligeiramente elevado para o transporte ferrovi\u00e1rio de cargas.<\/p>\n<h5><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-20203 size-full alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/swisstrans.dashboard.brand-architecture.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2025\/12\/ISCM_28.7.22_4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1453\" height=\"732\" \/><\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>Cen\u00e1rio 4: Transporte A\u00e9reo de Cargas<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Como os avi\u00f5es de passageiros transportam mais carga a\u00e9rea em todo o mundo do que os cargueiros, a crise da COVID-19 resultou em uma queda global no transporte a\u00e9reo de cargas e um aumento abrupto nos pre\u00e7os do mercado spot, que finalmente superaram as taxas de frete padr\u00e3o em at\u00e9 dez vezes ou mais. Justamente quando a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o come\u00e7ou, o fechamento do espa\u00e7o a\u00e9reo russo tamb\u00e9m levou a um aumento de 28% nas rotas de voo entre a Europa e a \u00c1sia. Devido \u00e0s rotas de transporte prolongadas, por um lado, menos voos podem ser realizados, e, por outro lado, mais combust\u00edvel \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio, o que limita ainda mais a capacidade total. Diante desses desenvolvimentos, os carregadores precisam repensar quais produtos &#8220;indispens\u00e1veis&#8221; justificam os custos do transporte a\u00e9reo devido \u00e0 sua margem e onde \u00e9 necess\u00e1ria uma diversifica\u00e7\u00e3o geogr\u00e1fica dos fornecedores. Os transit\u00e1rios e companhias a\u00e9reas, por sua vez, precisam repensar sua estrutura de rede (voos de hub vs. voos de gateway) e se proteger a curto prazo contra a explos\u00e3o dos pre\u00e7os do querosene por meio de hedge direcionado.<\/p>\n<p><u>Perspectiva:<\/u> A curto e m\u00e9dio prazo, espera-se que a capacidade de belly (muito necess\u00e1ria) n\u00e3o retorne ao mercado, uma vez que o tr\u00e1fego de neg\u00f3cios e lazer deve permanecer abaixo do normal. Portanto, tamb\u00e9m n\u00e3o se prev\u00ea um al\u00edvio imediato no transporte a\u00e9reo de cargas.<\/p>\n<h5><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-20204 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/swisstrans.dashboard.brand-architecture.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2025\/12\/ISCM_28.7.22_3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1466\" height=\"825\" \/><\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>Iniciativa de Pesquisa Abrangente<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Os resultados do estudo baseiam-se em um cons\u00f3rcio de pesquisa abrangente composto por prestadores de servi\u00e7os log\u00edsticos, carregadores e parceiros de TI, bem como em uma extensa s\u00e9rie de entrevistas, nas quais 45 especialistas foram questionados sobre desafios e abordagens de gest\u00e3o nos quatro cen\u00e1rios.
