transport.ch – The logistics and transport magazine for Switzerland – Issue 1/24 is online. (Basel) The year 2024 has truly picked up speed, and already on January 24/25, 2024, the industry is looking forward to its first highlight with the LOGISTICS & AUTOMATION event in Bern. The fair is primarily focused on intralogistics. Kristina Nadjarian shares what visitors can expect.

Classic cargo bikes are a common sight in German cities, but in Switzerland, they are still quite rare. The wholesaler Lyreco has six of them in operation. The report reveals that Lyreco is largely a logistics service provider as well. COO Erwin Fries explains the activities.

Gian Carlo Alessi is omnipresent in the logistics scene. In an interview with transport.ch, he explains his diverse engagement by stating that he wants to give something back to the industry that has given him so much. Those who know him believe that he is involved with passion and not out of a desire for recognition.

The variety of ISO containers becomes apparent when looking at the range of the still young Clickenhaus AG from Zofingen, whose business is the sale and rental of old and new containers. Co-founder David Gloor describes the possibilities.

Pharma.Aero is a global organization that represents the interests of pharmaceutical logistics within air freight. Andreas Behnke from Swissport in Basel was recently elected to the Advisory Board and represents the interests of ground handling agents.
