With this transaction, the group aims to strategically strengthen its customs and foreign trade expertise as well as to consistently develop integrated logistics solutions along the entire supply chain.
Zollprofis AG employs 26 staff members and is an established specialist in customs clearance as well as import and export processes. With locations in Rheinfelden, Thayngen, Basel (Weil am Rhein / customs office), Basel–St. Louis, and Sisseln, the company has a strong operational network at key Swiss border and customs corridors.
„With this acquisition, we are specifically expanding our existing customs and foreign trade organization with additional locations and expertise. This further strengthens our network at the border axes and enables us to support our customers even more efficiently and integratively along the entire supply chain,“ explains Andreas Stöckli, CEO of Rhenus Alpina AG.
The parties have agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.
The existing locations and employees will be integrated into the Rhenus Logistics organization. Operational activities will continue within the previous structures.
For customers and business partners, the continuity of services remains fully guaranteed. At the same time, the service offering is to be gradually expanded through integration into the existing customs and logistics organization of Rhenus Logistics.
