Sustainable mobility in focus
The municipal workshop is responsible for the maintenance and operation of public infrastructure. Its tasks include the upkeep of roads and green spaces, winter services, as well as various construction and environmental services. With the acquisition of the Renault Trucks „Master E-Tech,“ the municipality aims to make its mobility more environmentally friendly.
In the context of a tender in 2024, Renault Trucks was able to prevail with the new Master E-Tech. The decision for the fully electric vehicle was made after a demo operation of the previous model, the „Master 3 E-Tech.“ According to Renault Trucks, the employees were convinced of the advantages of the electric drive concept. The vehicle is equipped with an 87 kWh battery and represents the first new Renault Trucks Master with a tipping body that has been delivered in Switzerland.
