The US real estate developer Realterm has strengthened its European capital raising strategy with the appointment of Nidhya Ramasubbu as Vice President of Capital Markets in Europe. In her new position, Ramasubbu will be responsible for institutional capital raising for Realterm’s entire portfolio, including various investment funds, co-investments, and ventures. Her focus will be particularly on the DACH region.
Peter Lesburg, Managing Director and Global Head of Capital Markets at Realterm, commented on the appointment: “Nidhya brings more than a decade of capital raising experience from leading global institutions in the Core, Core-Plus, and Value-Add sectors. Her deep relationships with investors and advisors in Europe make her a valuable addition to our team.” Lesburg emphasized that Ramasubbu’s entry represents an important step in strengthening investor networks in the region.
Prior to her role at Realterm, Ramasubbu served as Executive Director for Business Development at UBS Asset Management in Zurich. There, she led institutional fundraising and investor relations for global real estate strategies in the DACH region and beyond. Previously, she worked at PGIM Real Estate in London as Vice President for Business Development and at DWS in London in the Global Client Group/Alternatives & Real Assets area.
Ramasubbu holds a Master of Science in Urbanisation and Development from the London School of Economics, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in European Social and Political Studies and Italian from University College London.
In the past five years, Realterm has significantly expanded its presence in Europe. The company now manages a pan-European real estate portfolio with a total value of over €1.2 billion, spanning key freight corridors across Europe. Realterm offers both an open Core-Plus fund and a series of closed Value-Add funds in Europe. In 2025, the company closed its second pan-European logistics fund with over €470 million in total commitments, significantly exceeding the original targets.
Additionally, Realterm recently welcomed Danae Daniilidis to the team to lead investor networks in the Middle East, further enhancing the company’s capital raising capabilities in the EMEA region.
