André Strebel will hand over the operational management of Schneider Group, an international logistics service provider headquartered in Basel (Switzerland), to Éric Peigné on July 1, 2026. Strebel has significantly shaped the company over the past eight years, greatly expanded its international presence, and successfully completed more than ten acquisitions. He is thanked for his commitment and valuable contribution to the development of the group.
After stepping down from operational leadership, André Strebel will remain connected to the company in a strategic role as Senior Advisor and member of the Board of Directors. This continuity is intended to ensure that his experiences and knowledge continue to influence the strategic direction of Schneider Group.
New CEO brings extensive experience
Éric Peigné is welcomed as the new CEO of Schneider Group. He brings extensive experience from the international freight forwarding and logistics industry, including from companies such as CEVA Logistics, Bolloré, and Kühne + Nagel. His strong strategic skills and extensive leadership experience in larger organizations as well as in various regions make him a suitable successor.
Schneider Group is optimistic about future developments. The focus is on scaling the international organization and continuing the Buy & Build strategy, which aims to further drive growth through targeted acquisitions.
