With the introduction of the new eActros 600, CAMION TRANSPORT expands its driver training with an innovative learning vehicle powered by electricity. This vehicle marks a premiere for the company from Wil in eastern Switzerland and was delivered to the branch in Burgdorf (Canton Bern) in mid-June 2026. The eActros 600 is designed as a trailer combination and offers a range of up to 600 km. The corresponding trailer is currently being prepared.
Experiences with electromobility in training
Through the use of the electric truck, CAMION TRANSPORT aims to gain valuable experiences in training with alternative drive technologies. The new learning vehicle allows aspiring road transport professionals to engage early with the requirements and specifics of electromobility. This is particularly relevant as the industry increasingly relies on environmentally friendly drive solutions.
The vehicle not only presents itself technically but also visually in a new design that highlights the connection between the transport and logistics world and the promotion of young talent. Young employees and trainees were specifically involved in the design process to consider their perspectives and needs.
