Belimo opens logistics center in Shanghai

With the opening of a new location in Cologne-Eifeltor, SBB Cargo International has further expanded its presence in the Cologne region. The new office is located in the Euro-Nova building, just a few minutes‘ walk from the Eifeltor train station. This location enables close collaboration with the operational teams on site.
Strengthening operational efficiency
Over 30 employees are already working at the new location. Approximately 20 freight trains operate daily in SBB Cargo International’s network to and from Cologne. Additionally, the company’s shunting locomotives are in operation around the clock to ensure smooth transport processes.
The management of SBB Cargo International emphasizes that the opening of the location is an important measure to optimize transport operations, customer relationships, and collaboration with employees. This allows the company, headquartered in Olten in the canton of Solothurn, to actively participate in the future development of rail freight transport in Germany’s most populous region.
