The Birsterminal AG in Birsfelden has put a new arch hall into operation, specifically designed for the roofing of asphalt and bulk materials. This hall provides a moisture-protected storage space that also prevents leaching. With a size of 35 x 10 meters, the hall was realized as a custom-made solution and demonstrates the versatile applications of such constructions.
Individual Design Options
A standout feature of the project is the option to freely choose the tarpaulin color of the roof. While gray or green are typically used, the customer opted for an anthracite version that harmoniously blends into the surroundings. This adaptability underscores the flexibility of the arch hall.
The assembly of the hall was carried out by a team of three people in just four days. The construction, based on concrete Lego blocks, offers a stable and adaptable solution for various requirements. While the width of the hall is fixed, the length can be adjusted as needed, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
High-Quality Materials and International Experience
The arch hall is supplied by an experienced manufacturer from Spain, who distributes its systems worldwide. The quality of the materials used, both the robust substructure and the high-quality tarpaulin, speaks to the durability and reliability of the product.
It is noteworthy that this arch hall is only the second of its kind realized by B+M in Switzerland. This indicates a growing interest in such constructions, which offer significant potential for various industries.
